Grand Traverse Greenway Trail Community Visioning Session

Event date: 1/9/2014 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

This Imagine Flint demonstration project will facilitate the design of a 3-mile stretch of former rail line running from Grand Traverse and Kearsley Streets near Downtown Flint south to Hemphill Road. It will link with the Flint River and Flint River Trail while providing residents and community members the opportunity for new recreational opportunities and increased healthy lifestyle options. The community visioning session will allow residents the opportunity to envision what connection points, destination areas, and trail design would be ideal while forming the blueprint for design charrettes in March 2014.

The session will be on Thursday, January 9 from 5-7 pm at Word of Life Church. 420 W. Atherton Rd.
