Land Use Workshops

The Imagine Flint project team would like to invite you to an exciting workshop that marks the kick off to the plan making phase of the Master Plan process.

Two Imagine Flint Land Use Workshops will take place – the first on Saturday, June 22 and the second on Tuesday, July 2 (time and locations below). Each engaging workshop will feature small groups working in a hands-on environment where workshop participants will get the chance to draw on large maps of the City and indicate what types of places they want to see in Flint. Input received at these workshops will form the basis for the Land Use Plan, a critical component of the Master Plan that identifies desired future land use and development for all areas in the City of Flint.

We encourage anyone interested in the master planning process to attend one of the Land Use Workshops. Remember, Imagine Flint is your opportunity to help shape the future of your city!

Vision & Goals Workshop

The Imagine Flint process is well underway and the team is excited to announce the next community event.

The Imagine Flint Community Vision and Goals Workshop will take place on Saturday, March 9, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.   This meeting will be held at the Mott Community College Ballenger Field House.  This engaging workshop will utilize real time polling and small group discussion to gain large group consensus. Every attendee will have an opportunity to have their voice heard. This workshop is a critical component of the Master Plan process and will enable residents to achieve serious dialogue and by the end of the meeting, establish a shared vision for the Master Plan including preliminary guiding principles that will create a framework for the Master Plan.

Remember, Imagine Flint is your opportunity to help shape the future of your city! If you can only attend one Imagine Flint event, THIS IS IT!
